In March hopefully we connected to altruism, spirituality and the importance of unconditional love. During April, understanding the difference between amassing a fortune out of greed and creating financial security to ensure growth and prosperity, is key. We have the opportunity to become truly independent of the negative material or psychological ties that bind, whether they have been forced upon us by the status quo, our families and surrounding environment, or our own insecurities. Ego (the Greek word for ‘I’-‘the Self’) does not need to entail a selfish state of being. It is at its strongest when used as a personal fuel that can help us as individuals get centered, pursue our goals and prosper. This will benefit the collective as well; after all, we need units to add up to a whole. Be ego driven not ego centered.

Please remember throughout APRIL that Saturn still squares Uranus and the status quo continues to push us back, as it is emotionally disconnected from the injustices it creates and wants to maintain its stronghold, on a global scale.

The human drive to achieve and accomplish goals, is a formidable force indeed. Combine this ability with emotional connection and prosperity within a thriving civilization, is a realistic outcome. If I can summarize April I would say that this is truly a ‘go getter’ month, a true offspring of Aris (Mars), god of war. Hard work and focus to a goal is favored, so go ahead and work towards the future; but stay emotionally connected to how your actions affect those around you, both on a personal and collective level. It is in large part, a productive but also a self-centered and literally explosive month (August 2020), so stay connected to basic human values, like freedom of speech, right to work under humane and fair conditions and equal rights for all. Remember, a war is not only won with ‘muscle’, it needs brains too. On April 1st, yes April fool’s day, do not be fooled by information. Things are not what they seem! (Mars squares Neptune, direct square 9-10). Instead, keep a sober approach to everything and harness the positive planetary energy from Mercury, planet of communication, information and health, as it enters feisty Aries for a brief stay from the 4th to the 19th and is also well aspected to Saturn, Jupiter and Mars. Translation? We can choose to be either, a) fearless, assertive, more determined to succeed, expand our physical horizons, assess issues with speed and accuracy, or b) be impulsive, make hasty decisions, be rude, obnoxious and abrupt and force our opinions on others. The choice is yours. Because Mercury is also connected to health, look out for injuries due to carelessness and headaches/migraines; especially if you choose option b). Accidents can also occur in industrial zones with improper safety measures or due to strong winds. Mars, planet of drive and aggression, is out of bounds at 24 degrees all month. The Sun (energy and life force) is well aspected with Venus (love, beauty, art and money) until the 14th, well aspected with Saturn (stability, hard work, reward at end of task) in anthropocentric Aquarius until the 5th, well aspected to Mercury (communication, health), conjunct on the 18-19th and well aspected to Mars until the 19th, with a sextile on April 13-14. Mars and Venus, the quintessential male-female archetypes, are also well aspected until the 15th, and form a beautiful sextile on April 6-7. Mars, ruler of Aries and planet of moving forward fearlessly, will be well aspected with structured Saturn and lucky Jupiter (they form a wonderful trine April 17-18) until April 24. Phew!

In a nutshell, use the first April fortnight, give or take 5 days, depending on your personal Chart, to push your ideas or plans forward, start a new project (provided you have done your homework in the last year), freshen up a worthy, long term relationship, personal or business and seek guidance in your studies or a seminar that will help you upgrade your work performance or make your business more profitable. Contract agreements can be favored, if you do not ‘brush over’ the fine print, as there is a tendency for deception. A head related ailment can be properly diagnosed or treated here, provided you are not your own doctor, as Aries influenced people often try to be. So do not worry if your aspirations and plans for a better 2021 were delayed or even crushed. Action will deliver prosperous end results, only when diplomacy and openness to dialogue is also applied. Take advantage of this month and try again. Apply your New Year’s resolutions here, as the Spring Equinox on March 20th and the stellar accumulation on the first zodiac sing, Aries, marks the New Astrological year. Never give up.

All the above heavenly bodies (the Sun, Venus, Mars, Saturn, Jupiter and Mercury) are enhanced by a stimulating New Moon on the 11th, at 22 degrees 25′ Aries, affecting us all but mostly Cardinal signs (Aries, Cancer, Libra, Capricorn) or people with points to your chart here. Here we have an opportunity to become more self-supportive, driven in regards to our dreams, get the job done well and fast and claim what is rightful, in all life’s aspects. Taking action and life into your own hands is favored. Can anything or anyone put a ‘dent’ on all these beautiful aspects? Yes, alchemist Pluto who is still bent out of shape to ’empty the sewer’ and heal us from toxicity. The end result may be beneficial but the process can be quite painful emotionally, so please stay calm, mind your wording and drive safe. Astrologically speaking, it squares this New Moon and all its allies (Pluto squares the Moon on the 11th, Venus on the 12th, the Sun on the 16th, Mercury the 17/18th). Scandals regarding misinformation erupt. Safety issues in heavy industries are also emphasized, unfortunately in physically explosive ways, so if you work in such environment, take safety seriously. Mother earth is also reacting with ‘tsunami like events’, probably extremely windy conditions, floods and earthquakes. Collision, is the word that comes to mind. The following quote from March 2021 applies here as well; “Extreme or out of control behavior can” (throw us off track) “on the 23rd, as Pluto is not well aspected.”

On the 20th, if April overwhelmed you, you will welcome the slow but steady pace as the Sun and Mercury join Uranus and enter reliable and hard headed Taurus. Venus, ruling planet of love, harmony, money and art entered Taurus, its offspring, on the 15th and is more than happy and comfortable here. Some positive financial news can be on the horizon. An innovative idea can benefit a personal or collective project. Dictator like behavior, particularly from people in position of power, will not benefit anyone; not even them, long term (next seven months). Mars enters sensitive, intuitive, nurturing and self-absorbed Cancer on the 23rd. As it will sextile the following Taurus stellium (Uranus, Sun, Venus, Mercury), get the most this aspect has to offer by keeping the balance between logic and emotion, sense and sensibility. Order and method pay off most of the time but not rigidity on the 24-25th, as Saturn squares Venus and Mercury. Guess what type of results harsh and cruel words towards your loved one, children, employees or group you are responsible for, will produce? Correct, harsh and cruel. If you exercise restraint, use the Mercury-Venus conjunction on the 26th, (right before an intense and in some cases scheming Full Moon following the next day) and right wrongs, accept or decline a proposal of any nature once and for all and observe possible positive news in the finance industry, People in position of power, if you misappropriate funds here, the price you will pay will be very high, so try to do the right thing, for once. Let us observe what this last year has taught our political leaders, if anything. There is something to be said about Karma and free will. How you shape yours is up to you.

Reshape a tangible norm by finding the balance between collecting and sharing. In other words, make and secure your fortune but do not be a spiteful, greedy jerk during the Full Moon in 7 degrees 6′ in Scorpio on the 27th, especially if you belong to the fixed sign family (Taurus, Leo, Scorpio, Aquarius) or have points to your chart her. This Moon coincides with alchemist Pluto, ruler of Scorpio starting its Retrograde motion on the 28th and illuminates the infamous Saturn-Uranus square. Did I mention rebel Uranus opposes this Full Moon? Or the Sun conjunct Uranus and Mercury sextiles Neptune on the 30th? Translation and short version; be a dreamer and rebel with a cause. An ego-driven, not ego-centered, rebel and cause.

You may notice occasionally, astrological dates can seem to be one (1) day off, (for example a planet enters a sign on the 12/13). This occurs because calculations are based on Tropical Midnight Ephemeris, Time Zone EDT (04 west). Add or subtract hours, based on your Time Zone.

Apologize by April 4 or after the 14th. Use the month to prove your good intentions with actions, not words, especially during those 10 days (4-14). Have your car serviced/checked. Make amends with a sibling, possibly sister. Take advantage of opportunities around the stimulating New Moon on the 11th, at 22 degrees 25′ Aries, to promote your ideas, upgrade your looks, ‘sell’ yourself well and bring balance in your relationships. A new business opportunity looks very promising, makes sure you do not brush over the details , to secure that it is. You are the fighter of the zodiac sings, so use your magnificent force in a productive way. Going within, doing a mental, emotional and physical Spring cleaning is what the first April fortnight is mostly about. If you were not able or delayed in getting a new health regime, no worries, take advantage of this introvert time frame and revamp your look, inside and out. You are physically and emotionally one of the strongest zodiac signs, while at the same time you hide a warm and trusting nature; so be extra aware of the days leading to the New Moon on the 11th, at 22 degrees 25′ Aries or backstabbing (end of the month*) from people that approach you in order to benefit from you and then ”toss’ you. Whether you are a May or June Gemini (particularly June 9-17), last month found you very busy with creating new social networks, going over contracts while dealing with your children or the issue of a marriage or business partnership, perhaps one a friend and you are involved in. Going over your affairs with a fine tooth-comb in order to secure permanent, beneficial solutions, is very important during the first fortnight and by the 23rd. So what if Uranus squares your Sun and unexpected events in your personal and professional life frustrate you temporarily? At the same time this planet illuminates your zone of ambitions in order to make you see things ‘out of the box’ and not miss out on prosperous opportunities. Keep this in mind the first fortnight of April, as your grand plans will be under the auspicious influence of ‘go getter’ Mars, ensuring support from your team/group/social network until the 23rd. If you were not able to finish sorting out marriage and partnership issues that have been dominating your life, take advantage of opportunities on the New Moon on the 11th, at 22 degrees 25′ Aries that trines your Sun (birthday August 13 and 9-17). Approach these issues with sobriety, not hyperbole (Saturn and Jupiter across your Sun July born Leos) and what is real will remain in your life and prosper. Here you may also have a worthy proposal from a potential business partner/connection. How is that nervous, respiratory or digestive system doing? A balanced diet is key, as all the activity in April will definitely keep you busy! This is what you wanted but you can not afford to sacrifice your well being for it. “It is important for you to eat well and exercise or you run the risk of burning yourself out around the Full Moon in Libra at 8 degrees and 18 minutes on the 28th. If you balance yourself you will be able to balance your relationships and affairs.” Last month’s quote, need I say more. The first two weeks of the month you expect to be accredited for your hard work, your friends to be understanding of your limited time and need to focus on your own issues and you also expect your significant other/family to play along without complaining. It is not that you do not deserve all of the above but your timing is not the best. Mercury, your ruler in feisty Aries, April 4-19, adds fire to your speech. Make sure you do not scorch the bridge! Patience is key here. How about you continue your diligent work pace, without expectations before April 21, 23 or 25, be alert for deception around the New Moon on the 11th, at 22 degrees 25′ Aries with investments or an inheritance issue and make time for a hobby or some mild exercise/nutrition plan? Please take some time and read through April 2021 up above, as there as some very positive days, like shiny breaks amidst a Spring storm, when you can slow but sure tick the items off of your list, one by one. With all these positive to your Sun aspects, unpredictable Uranus has no choice but to bring sudden good news about a trip/move, love, money or support from your network.

Marriage, partnership and new work projects issues dominate your thoughts, as you still feel the effects of last month’s Full Moon; its results, based on the choices you will make, will become clear this April or by November, depending on your chart. The most favorable choices will be those based on the balance between sensibility and heart. Your battery may still be drained until April 3rd, so do not force the issue. Venus, your ruler, is across your Sun until April 14, Mercury until the 19th, and the Sun until the 20/21st. Here, these above mentioned issues will be illuminated and press for solutions. Look for answers and solutions, as Saturn, Jupiter for the entire month and go getter Mars until the 23rd, trine your Sun but be extra cautious and diligent in your ‘homework’ until the New Moon on the 11th, at 22 degrees 25′ Aries, also across your Sun (birthday October 15 and 11-19). There is a deceptive tendency during the first 10 days of the month, more so on the 9-10th as Mars squares Neptune, so you will be glad you have exercised caution. Among other things, the Full Moon at the end of the month, highlights your need to be financially independent. Take advantage of the first three weeks of the month and focus on your practical needs, not so much in order to acquire more ‘stuff’ but to ensure your own independence, that comes with financial stability. Whether you expand your business, family, projects, your mind or physically travel to collect new experiences, you can, during this time-frame, set solid foundations for your new future. Your ruler Venus, plays a very important part this month because until the 14th it favors solutions regarding marriage and business affairs, inheritance and investments issues after. As it happily enters your sibling Taurus on the 15th, it will continue to support your overall efforts. It has been written before (last month) and it will be written again; “You have had your share of family, children or personal drama. You have also had enough.
