Are you a newcomer? Welcome! You can find below a brief, yet vital introduction to our planets, in order of distance from the sun, closest to furthest. You may be curious enough to visit but have no clue about astrology and zodiac signs.

Sun: center of our galaxy, associated with Leo, a sign of creative force, Helios in ancient Greece, the god of light.

Mercury: nearest to the sun and fastest moving, associated with Gemini and Virgo, signs of communication, known in ancient Greece as Hermes, messenger to the gods.

Venus: next in line and second brightest star in our sky, associated with Taurus and Libra, signs of strength and beauty, is Aphrodite Greece goddess of love in ancient Greece.

Earth: following suit, is the planet of life, growth, associated only by element (earth) with Taurus, Virgo, and Capricorn- Gaia in ancient Greece, the primal mother earth goddess.

Did you know that the web that holds the social structure of the wolves together is based on sharing, strategy in acquiring food, training and nurturing the young? They are brave, protective and loyal. They hunt what they need to survive, not to kill. In native American culture the wolf and its essence is savored. All the tribes (the Pawnee were actually called Wolf People), were taught these significant life lessons from the wolf; how to love, care for the young, hunt and survive with respect to other living beings.

I couldn’t help but going over this article from 2021 and find it more pertinent than ever. On January 3, 2026 we have another Wolf Full Moon that calls for fairness, respect, mothering not smothering. Karmic rewards are also possible in love and money provided you are fair to yourself and others. Fair, respectful, protective, these are all attributes the wolves seem to effortlessly subscribe to. Why can’t we? A native of the country we call United States once told me that the day we disrespect the wolf, humanity will stand in front of great peril. The new senate bill H.R. 845 that was voted in the United States about wolf hunting brings us closer to this edge. How close or far away are you from this land? It doesn’t matter, it is as good as happening in your back yard. Because as our world’s web falls apart silk string by silk string, it is a matter of time for us all to simply fall through it. Respect the wolf. Respect life. Respect your family.

Sung’Manitu-tanka Oyate: it is impossible for me to properly translate this in English, there is too deep a meaning for words. ‘The Great Spirit of the Wolf that hunts walking’ makes me think, and this is of course just my understanding of it, that everything and everyone on this planet is made of the same star particles, being in this sense interconnected. Every little piece of star matter and dust contains the Great Spirit, Life, Chi, Energeia.

Στις 27 Φεβρουαρίου, ανοίγει μια πύλη που θα την δρασκελίσει όλη η ανθρωπότητα, απλά επειδή αυτή είναι η πύλη που θα περάσει ο πλανήτης μας. Εχουμε Νέα Σελήνη στον Ιχθύ και όπως με όλες τις φάσεις της νέας σελήνης, κάνουμε καινούργια αρχή. Δεν υπάρχει επιστροφή και για να πλοηγήσεις μέσα απο την εικοσαετία που ξεκίνησε σε προσωπικό και συλλογικό επίπεδο, ελπίζω ότι το άρθρο που ακολουθεί να φωτίσει τον δρόμο σου και να σου φανεί έστω εν μέρει χρήσιμο. Εχει πάντα ενδιαφέρον η επιστροφή στο παρελθόν διαβάζοντας πράγματα που γράφτηκαν παλότερα αλλά είναι επίκαιρα, καθώς διαδραματίζονται γύρω μας ιστορικά γεγονότα. Ελπίζω να το απολαύσεις!

Ο Οκτώβριος του 2023 τελειώνει σήμερα, στις 31. Η τελευταία μέρα του μήνα φέρνει και την νεόφερτη γιορτή, την ”All Hollows Eve”’ (η Παραμονή όσων έχουν παρέλθει), γνωστή και ως Χαλοουίν (Halloween). Αυτή η γιορτή είναι αρχαία Κελτική κληρονομιά, απο το φεστιβάλ ‘Shamhain’ (Σαμχέιν), όπου οι άνρθωποι, ντυμένοι με δέρματα και κεφάλια ζώων, άναβαν φωτιές, για να φέρουν το φως στο σκοτάδι του χειμώνα στο σημερινό Ηνωμένο Βασίλειο και ειδικά στην σημερινή Σκωτία. All Saints Day and Halloween; death and rebirth. What is the connection??

October 2023 comes to an end today, on the 31st. The last day of the month delivers All Hollows Eve, known as Halloween. This celebration is an inheritance from the ancient Celtic festival of Shamhain, when people dressed in animal heads and skins and lit bonfires to bring light into the darkness of the winter ahead and to keep at bay the dark spirits or ghosts, of the dead returning to earth that day. The Celtic tradition was incorporated by the Romans into their celebration of Feralia, the day of the dead and Pomona, goddess of fruit and trees.
