ABUSE; when time stops

I will keep this simple; from December 21 to 26, abuse will reach an all time high. Unfortunately, this probably comes as no surprise to most of us, with such worldwide socioeconomic pressure building up from 2008.

If you are already in an abusive environment, please ask for help from a consultant, therapist or group in your area, that you feel comfortable with. If you are in an environment were tension is mounting, here is a most applicable and one of my favorite life coaching tips, not just during this time frame but for the rest of your life.

Set boundaries, set boundaries and set boundaries!

Simple Yes! Easy? Not always! Effective? Absolutely! Whether you are home bound of work bound, buy yourself one hour a day or even ten minutes, to isolate yourself in your home office, bedroom, any room were you can just close the door behind you. For the stubborn family members, roommates, place a ‘do not disturb’ sign on your doorknob (yes, precisely like in a hotel). Usually, there is one person that externalizes their tension and can become verbally, physically or even worst, psychologically abusive and another person on the receiving end.

The ‘set your boundaries’ tip applies to both parties. If you feel your temperature rising, giving yourself the space you need, gives you the solution you seek; that is why you are so angry, right? All you really want is a solution to your problem.

Ανυψωτική συμμαχία: Κρόνος & Δίας ενώνουν δυνάμεις.

Πάντα θα θυμάμαι την πρώτη εκδρομή στο πλανητάριο, την πρώτη φορά που αντίκρυσα το Ηλιακό μας Σύστημα και τους πολύπλοκους μηχανισμούς που το ενώνουν. Μαγεύτηκα απο τα υπέροχα χρώματα και την αέναη κίνηση του μεγαλύτερου πλανήτη του Γαλαξία μας, του Δία. Μου φάνηκε ασύληπτο το πόσα διαστημηκά απόβλητα απωθεί η επιφάνειά του από την Γη. Ο Δίας κυριολεκτικά, μας καλύπτει τα νώτα! Ανακαλύπτοντας την Αστρολογία μέσα απο την Αστρονομία, δεν μας εκπλήσει που ο Δίας θεωρείται ο πιό ‘εξωστρεφής και γενναιόδωρος’ πλανήτης, ο ‘Αγιος Βασίλης’ των ‘Αστρων. Από την άλλη πλευρά, ήμουν σκεπτική με τον Κρόνο και τους εντυπωσιακούς του Δακτύλιους, όχι απλά διαβάζοντας αρκετά για τον πιο αμφιλεγόμενο πλανήτη, αλλά συνειδητά βιώνοντας τα μαθήματα ζωής και εμπειρίες που μας παραχωρεί ο μεγάλος αυτός δάσκαλος. Παρεπιπτώντος, μου πήρε αρκετό χρόνο να αναφερθώ στον Κρόνο σαν μεγάλο δάσκαλο, αντί σαν ‘τιμωρό, περιορισμού της ελευθερίας’. Το γεγονός ότι ο Κρόνος και ο Δίας μπαίνουν στον ανθρωπιστικο Υδροχόο στις 17 και 20 Δεκεμβρίου αντίστοιχα, είναι πραγματικά τεράστιο αστρολογικό νέο! Προκειμένου να κατλάβουμε τι σημαίνει αυτό σε προσωπικό και οικουμενικό επίπεδο, να συλλέξουμε τα οφέλη και να περάσουμε επιτυχώς τα εμπόδια, πρέπει να καταλάβουμε τι φέρνει στο τραπέζι ο Υδροχόος και ποιά η σημασία Κρόνου και Δία. Ακολουθεί ένα απλό παράδειγμα για να κατανοήσουμε αυτούς τους μέγα πλανήτες.

Opposites attract?

Opposites do attract. What happens after they do is the question. A planetary opposition that occurs today, in combination with some life coaching tips, can be a useful guide for today, the rest of the week and why not the rest of the year, one that most of us want to just go away.

The eternal female (Venus) and male (Mars) archetypes are in opposition in the skies. These two planets embody everything we know that torments our personal relationships. A quick note here; when referring to female and male, we are describing the energy, not the gender. Female energy is receptive and male energy is penetrating. Therefore, this segment applies to all forms of partnerships, same gender or not.

All Saints Day; death and rebirth

October 2021 comes to an end in ten days, on the 31st. The last day of the month delivers All Hollows Eve, known as Halloween. This celebration is an inheritance from the ancient Celtic festival of Shamhain, when people dressed in animal heads and skins and lit bonfires to bring light into the darkness of the winter ahead and to keep at bay the dark spirits or ghosts of the dead returning to earth that day. The Celtic tradition was incorporated by the Romans into their celebration of Feralia, the day of the dead and Pomona, goddess of fruit and trees.

Hermes, wildly known as Mercury, was the Messenger to the Gods of Olympus in ancient Greek mythology. He was fast, with wings on his sandals and quite crafty. In astrology, when a planet like Mercury turns Rx-retrograde like it does today, October 14 to November 4, it is big news indeed. When this occurs, you will read or hear about delays, miscommunication and a general atmosphere permeated with havoc. Avoid putting your signature or make serious announcements or decisions, is also on the agenda. With Mercury in intense and secretive Scorpio, a lot can be revealed on both a personal and collective level. Shady politicians and other like minded creatures, beware. All this activity can be enough to make, even a sensible person, panic. No need for that! How to easily turn this upheaval to your benefit? Thrice the Arrow

On September 25, the Moon will be in Sagittarius, the Arrow Carrier of our zodiac family. In simple terms, for about two days it will reflect the Archers characteristics on all that it illuminates! The exciting astronomical news, is that it will meet Jupiter and Saturn, the two largest planets of our solar system and this will be visible from earth, as the sky darkens. What a beautiful trio this conjunction will be, as the luminous Moon, Jupiter’s red spot and Saturn’s rings, will be visible with binoculars or a telescope. Jupiter rules Sagittarius, so this light will be compatible to its natural astrological essence. Saturn is in rigid Capricorn, its ruling sign and can greatly benefit form the Sagittarius exuberance. How can we make the most of this energy, that rules our higher mind?
