Honestly, I had no intention of writing this post for the ‘200 Year Anniversary of the Greek Revolution and victory over the Ottoman occupation.’ There are, even online, so many events taking place, historical analysis, reports, documentaries from noteworthy reporters, politicians (no, they are not all extinct yet), artists, foundations, I rather enjoy the variety and quality offered. However, an accidental conversation with a top scientist and doctor, a few years back and a similar reference recently, pushed my button.

Ειλικρινά, δεν είχα σκοπό να γράψω το παρακάτω άρθρο για την επέτειο 200 ετών από την Ελληνική Επανάσταση εναντίον της Οθωμανικής κυριαρχίας. Υπάρχουν, έστω διαδυκτιακά, τόσα δρώμενα, ιστορικές αναλύσεις, αναφορές, ντοκιμαντέρ από πολύ αξιόλογους δημοσιογράφους, πολιτικούς (όχι, δεν έχουν εκλείψει όλοι ακόμη), καλλιτέχνες, ιδρύματα, πραγματικά με έχουν καλύψει. Ομως μία τυχαία συζήτηση με έναν καταξιωμένο επιστήμονα και γιατρό, πριν λίγα χρόνια και μία παρόμοια αναφορά που άκουσα πρόσφατα σε συζήτηση, μου πάτησαν το κουμπί της αντίδρασης.

Η Χρονιά του Βουβαλιού ξεκίνησε 12-2-2021. Γιατί σε αφορά;
Μπορεί να μην ακούγεται ιδιαίτερα εντυπωσιακό η αλήθεια είναι, όταν λέμε η χρονιά του Βουβαλιού, όπως η χρονιά του Δράκου για παράδειγμα, αλλά να είσαι σίγουρη/ος ότι, αν μη τι άλλο, δεν θα περάσει απαρατήρητη! Οπως όλα, έτσι και το Βουβαλάκι μας έχει συν και πλην. Οταν έχει τις καλές του είναι εμπιστέψιμο, συγκεντρωμένο στο στόχο του, παραγωγικό μέσα από αργές αλλά σταθερές κινήσεις, ακούραστο, γλυκό και αισθησιακό. Επίσης αγαπά την φύση, την ασφάλεια και το γνώριμο. Ετσι την χρονιά του Βουβαλιού μπορούμε να δρέψουμε τους καρπούς των κόπων μας, να έχουμε ανοδική και σταθερή πορεία και να ασχοληθούμε με την μητέρα φύση. Οταν δεν έχει τις καλές του βέβαια, φαντάζεσαι… επιθετικό, αυταρχικό, καθόλου μα καθόλου δημοκρατικό και αφόρητα ξεροκέφαλο. Στο τέλος της χρονιάς, ο ‘παρτάκιας’ μπορεί να κερδίσει την μάχη, αλλά την Εποχή του Υδροχόυ που διανύουμε, θα χάσει τον πόλεμο. Διάβασε να δείς πως θα επηρεάσει το ζωδιό σου και αποφάσισε αν θα τρέξεις την χρονιά αυτή παραγωγικά ή όχι!

Did you know that the web that holds the social structure of the wolves together is based on sharing, strategy in acquiring food, training and nurturing the young? They are brave, protective and loyal. They hunt what they need to survive, not to kill. In native American culture the wolf and its essence is savored. All the tribes (the Pawnee were actually called Wolf People), were taught these significant life lessons from the wolf; how to love, care for the young, hunt and survive with respect to other living beings.
