Cronus, Lord of its Rings
Cronus (Saturn) opposes the Sun on July 20th at 22;14 GMT/July 21st at 01;14 (GMT+3) and being at its closest distance to our planet, gives us the unique opportunity to observe this majestic planet, with its rings and moons. It is the sixth planet in the darker outskirts of our galaxy. The New Moon is
rather accommodating in its waning crescent phase and can not outshine Cronus. Although we do need a telescope to observe its ornaments, on the 20/21st we get a chance to observe with a naked eye, a gold, bright star in the sky, close to Jupiter. These two magnificent stars conjunct every 20 years! They rub elbows on December 15-23, 2020. An astrological analysis of this aspect will follow soon. After all, in mythology, Cronus castrated his father, Uranus. After December 17, 2020, these two planets will periodically lock heads over a 23 month period. Titan fights anyone?
