Aspects and dates for February 2022.
Shh… I wish I could whisper this to you and not jinx it, but it must be put in print; this February is a good month, all things considering. Although many feel the tail end of a tensed and frantic November 1st, 2021 to February 3, 2022 period, still, I dare call this, a fertile month. Take a moment and compare to last year’s February: “There is no way to sugar coat this, February begins with a bang, as the Sun squares aggressive Mars in stubborn Taurus on February 1st. We are fully aware that all people are born free. We may not be the same, but we are equal and all share the right to indulge in our basic human rights. Why do we then, try so hard to take those rights away from one another? Is it human nature? I believe it is not. It is lack of love. When we are not loved we become insecure. Those insecurities lower our self esteem, and ‘love’ becomes a condition we chase incessantly but to no avail. Defining love becomes a priority in February. This is a very tensed month and love is our only EXIT sign.” There seem to be a lot of broken marriages, spiked domestic abuse and loss at all levels. Word to the wise: if it isn’t broke, don’t fix it. If you can’t swim, don’t rock the boat. If you want to be part of a revolution, or wish to have your own, this is the time. Just don’t disarm your logic. Will this month, albeit this year, erase everything negative or give us a happy ending? I for one, wouldn’t want a happy ending, it is an ending after all. There is a New Moon on February 1st, in Aquarius, at 12 degrees 20′. It affects us all but mostly the Fixed signs ( Taurus, Leo, Scorpio and Aquarius) and people with points to your chart here. Traditionally, a New Moon like this, marks new beginnings, a desire to move forward, think outside the box and an affinity for the element of surprise. Who loves more the unexpected, than a true to form Aquarius! February 15-28:
There is a Full Moon at 28 degrees 0′ Leo, on the 16th. It affects us all, but mostly the Fixed signs ( Taurus, Leo, Scorpio and Aquarius, also first degrees Gemini, Virgo, Sagittarius and Pisces) and people with points to your chart here. It is a warm hearted, generous, creative, albeit stubborn moon (it squares the North Node -Karma- in sweet but hard headed Taurus). The Leo energy that the Moon reflects upon us, has all the above mentioned positive traits but a distorted sense of pride can throw our aspirations and goals off kilter. It emphasizes the need to balance the ‘i” versus the ‘team’, overbearing heat against absolute coolness, ties that bind versus independence. In essence, keep your emotions in check, warm not scorching hot and cool, collective, not indifferent and detached.
