Aspects and dates for June 2021.

Please remember throughout JUNE that Pluto, (power games) is retrograde and Saturn, also in retrograde motion, still squares Uranus in their most powerful ‘locked horns’ battle of 2021. The status quo continues to push us back, as it is emotionally disconnected from the injustices it creates and wants to maintain its stronghold, on a global scale.

If I can summarize June, I would say that this is a cardiogram like month, where we all need to escape, one way or another. There are two ways to do this; one way is to take the trip or holiday than we can, with patience and courtesy to others. Understand that most tourist destinations are dealing still with the same socioeconomic problems of not just the past year, but of the last 20. The other way to escape is like a frantic, scared bull, running in the streets trumping over everything and everyone. Pick your way. The web we can be caught in during June? Deceit, hyperbole and substance abuse (includes drunk driving).

Will this be a good summer in the northern hemisphere? Here are the first three weeks of the month in a nutshell; triple check your reservations, even at your favorite restaurant, make copies of your ids, passport, do a system back up, then an external hard drive back up and have two flash drives with important information. Save the game you have been playing all winter too. Read the fine print in anything you sign, from a rental (car, home) lease, long term or short, marriage agreement to a major investment or purchase/sale. Don’t ignore the funny noise your car is making; or your ‘gut’ feeling. Do not play with fire, literally and figuratively. If it seems too good to be true, it probably is.

June 1-4/5: You can have ‘the talk’ with your loved one about the direction of your relationship, money or discuss/redraw your business plan with your partner, as long as your intentions and speech, are clear. Take notes, or record your thoughts, use any way that you are comfortable with and you can have, despite the surrounding upheaval or nebulous environment, a positive outcome with long term, solid foundations. Between June 3*-27, we have a tendency to be nurturing and protective, generous and kind, yet at the same time we can be needy and overemotional. Our ‘gut’ feeling works overtime and our stomach is more sensitive. Art begins to sprout again. Overspending is another tendency here, as is overeating; there can be a tendency to regress if you are dealing with an eating disorder. Eat light meals, hydrate and consult your therapist if need be. Spend time by the water or listen to soothing water sounds. This will be a hot and windy summer.

For the astrology aficionados, Mars, aggression and drive, is well aspected to dreamy and altruistic Neptune on June 1st. Venus, love, money and art, is well aspected to Mercury, communication and health, June 1-2 but is squared by Neptune 1-3. Venus* is loving and soft after June 3, as it enters intuitive, clever and impulsive Cancer. The life giving Sun is well aspected to structured Saturn 1-3, in trine on June 4; on the same day Venus trines lucky Jupiter. Mercury is not well aspected to Neptune June 1-17, in square June 4-5. Important communication and health tip; Mercury is retrograde but luckily well aspected to Saturn, in June. Hopefully sensibility will prevail over the desire to destroy (Mars opposing Pluto and Saturn square Uranus.

There is a New Moon/Solar Eclipse on June 10, at 19 degrees 47′ Gemini. Hit the brakes, literally and figuratively. This moon aligns with a retrograde Mercury, ruler of Gemini, and is not well aspected to nebulous Neptune, negatively affecting all types of communication, commerce, contracts, health. Avoid choosing the easy way out, though other options are available. To put it simply: lack of patience and understanding will cause disorientation. This can lead to eruptive and catastrophic events, worldwide.

June 5-17: Between June 3-17, there will be good news regarding love and money and artistic endeavors. An unexpected financial boost or great news, arrive for many water (Cancer, Scorpio, Pisces) or fixed (Taurus, Virgo, Capricorn) signs, or people with points to your chart here**, in connection to an ongoing project or from inheritance. You are exhausted and need a break from our world’s serious issues. I do not subscribe to guilt; so take your break or holiday and have fun, I will, every chance I get. Staying connected to the surrounding events and doing your part, however small you think it might be, is what I think counts. We want to enjoy our summer, or snuggle in the southern hemisphere, but we can not ignore the tension caused by power games, especially between males and people in position of power. Look at the recent events in the middle east or the continuous hunting of the Amazon natives. Inevitably, rebellious cells will pop up world wide. The ‘pandemic’ that has kept us tucked away, to the point of ignorance, does not seem to have ‘infected’ our desire to use this opportunity and restore fairness on this planet. On the contrary, the covid boat has not even sunk yet and there we go either killing each other again, or tolerating it. Enjoy your time off from the world but stay alert. Both in business and a personal level, a ‘spurt’ of flatterers may emerge; be very skeptical, as things are not what they seem. You can get your point across successfully on the 11th, as intellectualism is enhanced, despite the retrograde. Love affairs and creativity are full of passion after June 12. So is aggression though. Same health issues and soothing techniques as mentioned above (June 1-4), apply here as well.

For the astrology aficionados, Mars, aggression and drive, opposes power ‘gamer’, transformative Pluto, June 5-6; they are irritated with each other until June 11. Luckily on June 11, the Sun conjuncts a retrograde Mercury but still, communication can win. On June 12, Mars enters passionate Leo, and tension/passion will build up until June 30th, as it squares rebellious Uranus and opposes boundary setting Saturn. Who saves the astrological day? Venus is well aspected to Uranus June 3-17, in sextile on the 13-14th. Important communication and health tip; Mercury is retrograde but luckily well aspected to Saturn, in June. Hopefully sensibility will prevail over the desire to destroy (Mars opposing Pluto and Saturn square Uranus.

June 18-25: On June 18 there can be a pause in commotion; like a chance to regroup. Miscommunication and deceit (getting caught off guard) are still active ingredients but even if we have misjudged/underestimated an event or a person, here we can in part, remedy the situation or do our homework. Wait until after the 23rd to deal with contracts, trade agreements. For a stressful health issue, definitely get a second opinion. Be careful with extreme sports, especially connected to water. The opportunities that surfaced May 14 to June 21, now require your full attention; between June 21 to July 28, you earn those stripes. You can celebrate after. There is more passion, artistic projects and need for self expression. Things begin to slow down or calm down in some cases, and pushing the issue can only aggravate matters. Here is where we do the best that we can and turn the focus on our well being and enjoying the summer or the winter quiet, in the southern hemisphere. Some conspiracy theorists, can be validated around the 24th or 26th, as there is political, not just family, drama. You need to be patient with children; you are exhausted but listen to what they have to say.

For the astrology aficionados, Jupiter turns retrograde June 21. Apply luck to hard work until July 28. On the day, the Sun enters nurturing, sensitive, intuitive and needy Cancer. Balancing those characteristics, is key. Lucky day on the 22nd for many water signs, as Venus trines Neptune and in general on the 24th, as the life giving Sun trines expansive Jupiter. Family drama, not to exclude relationships/partnerships, peaks also on the 24th, as Venus opposes Pluto.
