If February, despite surrounding havoc, was connected to intellectual connections, universal and romantic love, then March is definitely connected to altruism, spiritual connections and unconditional love. Love often lets us down and as a result we often become bitter and insecure. Why? We seek perfection, when we ourselves are anything but perfect. We have expectations, when, more often than not, we do not know what to expect from our own self. In the era of selfies, we hastily judge a book by its cover. This month we are challenged to understand and accept that beauty, inside and out, is in the eye of the beholder. Respect each other’s choices, tastes and beliefs. At the end of the day, one person’s flaw can be an other’s mark of beauty.

Please remember throughout March that Saturn still squares Uranus and the status quo continues to push us back, as it is emotionally disconnected from the injustices it creates and wants to maintain its stronghold, on a global scale.

“love is our only EXIT sign” was last month’s understatement. The events in March will make this clear to the naked eye, and will also emphasize a universal need to see the tangible and intangible benefits when we offer beneficial service to the collective. The focus shifts end of the month to marriages/partnerships and the necessity to either balance give-and-take or move on. If I can summarize March I would say that this is truly a nebulous month, a true offspring of Poseidon, god of the seas. Dreams are favored, so go ahead and dream for the future; just keep your ideas connected to reality. It is in large part, a pleasant but foggy month, so stay connected to your compass. The Sun (energy and life force) is well aspected with Venus (love, beauty, art and money) in altruistic Pisces and introduces us to a beginning of an unusual month. On the one hand we will feel creative, discover a new or hidden artistic flair, participate in or create a group that serves those in need or cultivate our spiritual side. Venus is also well aspected to Uranus the first five days of the month and in conjunction on March 3. Here we could receive unexpected positive news regarding a personal or financial mater. Original ideas can lead to great technological advancement or inventions. New trends that will influence this entire decade have their roots here. We can also find ourselves in the middle of eventful conditions, scandals involving sexual perversion or experience uncontrollable tension and strain. Remember, Saturn and Uranus are negatively aspected throughout the whole month, making this even a more testy time, for people in power positions. Mars is well aspected to Pluto until the 3rd, a good time to clear the air and address truths in all relationships. On March 4 Mars, aggression and drive, enters Gemini. We become less rigid in our approach and the mind is stimulated (Mars will be well aspected with Saturn and Jupiter until April 24).

On the 11th the Sun and on the 14th Venus, conjunct Neptune in dreamy Pisces. We experience a spiritual thirst, we are poetically romantic, highly creative and empathetic. Dare to dream, but take care to not get lost in day dreaming (Neptune, Mercury and Venus in Pisces can create nebulous conditions). All the above (the Sun,Venus and New Moon conjunct Neptune and are sextiled by Pluto) are enhanced by a beautiful New Moon on the 13th, at 23 degrees 4′ Pisces, affecting us all but mostly Mutable signs (Gemini, Virgo, Sagittarius, Pisces) or people with points to your chart here. Here we embrace each others flaws and keep the faith. We are more empathetic and work towards the collective well-being. Perhaps a financial relief for the suffering middle and lower income classes is formed. We realize that our contribution, however small, can have a great impact. The arts are favored but scandals are also emphasized. These characteristics are emphasized more after the 16, as Mercury enters altruistic Pisces. Take care of your digestive system, feet and ankles (Mercury is also connected to health). Mars enters out of bound motion on the 22nd (begins its ‘shadow’ motion on the 12th). Assertion? Yes. Aggression? No. On March 21 the Sun and on the 22nd Venus, enter fiery Aries. On the 21st Day and Night are equal and on the 22nd Venus is at its highest point above the horizon. Use this day to connect emotionally and mark a new beginning, Spring in your life. The stage is set for a lively play. We are ready to go after our goals but who is stopping us? Extreme or out of control behavior can on the 23rd, as Pluto is not well aspected. Read on, to find out what happens on both a personal and collective level. Venus opposes the upcoming Full Moon.

Last but definitely not least, there is a Full Moon in Libra at 8 degrees and 18 minutes on the 28th. It affects us all but mostly the Cardinal signs (Aries, Cancer, Libra and Capricorn) and people with points to your chart here. Traditionally, a Full Moon like this shifts our focus to marital/partnership (including business) issues, neighborhood, small or country wide issues and urges us to find the balance between what we give and what we receive. This Full Moon however will have a powerful collective impact, that will manifest through explosive, reactive and justice seeking global behavior, as injustice has reached an all time high. We are abusing the planet, its resources, vulnerable inhabitants of all species and our neighbors, neighboring or far from our borders countries, our own families. It is a war versus peace Moon. Things are not what they appear to be (Neptune), so direct the positive cardinal (compulsive) justice seeking fighting force (Aries), to the correct source, with diplomacy and openness to both sides (Libra).

You may notice occasionally, astrological dates can seem to be one (1) day off, (for example a planet enters a sign on the 12/13). This occurs because calculations are based on Tropical Midnight Ephemeris, Time Zone EDT (04 west). Add or subtract hours, based on your Time Zone.

Manifestation can be a powerful state of existence. During March, if your practical side moves down the ‘bench’ just a little bit and allows spirituality some space, you can literally turn your dreams into reality or at least break ground for the foundations of your future, as you visualize it. It is safe to say that you have entered a new life cycle. You caught the ‘wave’ back in January 28 and its strength is carrying you through; and your hard work, of course.
