How to make the most of what May has to offer? Use your common sense and uncommon sensibility. You know what common sense is. Uncommon sensibility? This term emerged, as I came across one of Einstein’s quotes: “stay away from negative people: they have a problem for every solution!” This month, be uncommonly sensible and emotionally mature, like Einstein, keep your feet on the ground, think things through, try not to get ‘swept over’ by a mob mentality. Exercise and monitor your food’s quality. Allow your senses to expand, embrace sensuality, the arts and appreciate true beauty: the one that first stems from within. Then, you can safely worship outer beauty, whatever ‘beauty’ is to you!

You can’t build castles in the sand and expect long term results or stability. Be excited about the surrounding, adventurous disposition but keep your feet on the ground and your pace steady. What did May inherit from a contradictory March-April (global humanitarian, financial crisis and a simultaneous anthropocentric awakening)? It inherited creative, artistic,

musical and high frequency practices, which continue to be favored, but the desire to thrust forward and find security through practical means, is also amplified. Truth consistently pushes through to the surface, on a personal and collective level. Both, progress (technological) and scandals, continue to surface in the medical, navigation, oil, plastics and institutions industries. Whether you live on the northern or southern hemisphere, May is a good month to nurture body and soul. This jump starts your heart’s desires and aspirations, (expansive Jupiter in restless Aries after May 11) but does need a steady, ‘easy does it’, approach, as a true Taurus month suggests.

Although technically, the New Moon in Taurus occurred on April 30th, it might as well have happened on May 1st, as its energy sets the pace, for most of the month. This energy is summarized in one phrase from April 2022: “A major lesson here? Astrological “back flip”: in some cases, a Mercury retrograde brings forth projects or agreements that have been ‘stuck’ for too long and gives you an opportunity to finalize a deal or get money that you didn’t expect or had given up on. In order to harvest the positive influence from such a moon, you need to balance your emotional needs. If the New Moon of April 30th (which sets the pace for May), taught you the importance of not confusing your self worth with your net worth, this full moon will benefit you, if you distinguish between emotional connection and emotional obsession. You seek the truth no matter what, a condition intensified by the Eclipse and a square (tension), to mature and form loving Saturn.
