Aspects and dates for October 2021.

Please remember throughout October that Pluto, (power games) turns direct on the 7th and Saturn, direct on the 11th, still not well aspected to Uranus (by 8 degrees). The status quo continues to push us back, as it is emotionally disconnected from the injustices it creates and wants to maintain its stronghold, on a global scale.

If I can summarize October, I would suggest savoring all the pleasant, passionate and productive days, while looking out for well-wishers that ultimately want to gain control not only of you but of a situation. This can block your development, in all levels, long-term. This applies from small and large societies, to a global scale. Do not succumb to bullying and fear. The web we can be caught in during October? Control and insatiable hunger for power, jealousy, possession mania and possessively driven behavior. Astrologically speaking, a turning direct generous Jupiter (19th) and stabilizing Saturn (11th) in humanitarian Aquarius, are the umbrella we need. For those rainy days. It is a strong umbrella.

October 1-6: Apart from October 1st, when putting your foot in your mouth in regards to, well, everything and everyone, is almost guaranteed if negative emotions take over (a global financial burst is possible), the first week offers many opportunities for new beginnings (includes education/seminars), finding a happy medium (on a personal and collective level) in our affairs. Of course Mercury is retrograde until the 18th, so communication ‘faux pas’ are intensified. But with so much desire and most astrological aspects in our favor, to bring fairness and balance back, this can actually be a very productive month. Deals are back on the table! Need to sign any contract (includes marriage/divorce), start a new project, trade, before the 18th? You can succeed, just do not leave anything to chance. Enjoy making up with a friend, lover or partner(business included), more so if you took care of your body, mind and soul in September. Better understanding from both sides this time around! If you have suffered circulatory health issues, no better time than the present to visit a specialist and start walking!

For the astrology aficionados; Love and money oriented Venus squares lucky and expansive Jupiter, and Mercury squares penetrating and regenerating Pluto, on October 1st. Old wounds can erupt. Take care of all plumbing, in buildings, cars, including your own, the kidneys and its system! Extra caution if you are a fixed sign (Taurus, Leo, Scorpio, Aquarius). There is a New Moon on October 6, at 13 degrees ‘ Libra. Make up with your partner, make amends with a friend or yourself. It conjuncts aggressive Mars giving our physical, mental or emotional stride the right, balanced pace. It affects all types of partnerships, relationships and human exchanges; positively if you exert the right amount of energy, negatively, if you become too complaisant and do not. It affects us all at some level, as we all can benefit here from the pursuit of happiness through fairness. October 7-17: October continues on a pleasant stride, and on the 7th, if you did no sign that contract or marriage/divorce certificate by now, here you have a chance to; or bring negotiations back on the table and conclude your affairs successfully and fairly, for both ends (possibly after the 18th). On and after the 8th we become, on both a personal and collective level, more open minded, less obsessive and more generous. Continue to savor happy moments in all levels and look forward to new beginnings, just do not put all your eggs in one basket before the 18th; or in general. On the 11th and well into December, stability in the tipping scales is slowly restored, albeit in a rocky manner at times. Hard work in a job or relationship, is rewarded on or close to the 13th and on the 15th; here some get a good cash injection, directly or indirectly. The powers that be vs the world population, or countries/neighbors, all rivals in essence, wave the white flag and offer truce; do they mean it or are they just buying time? For the astrology aficionados, on October 7, the Sun conjuncts Mars and mysterious, penetrating and controlling Pluto turns direct ! Truce time. On the 8th, Venus enters gregarious Sagittarius. We can all use this positive influx of energy. On the same days (7-8) the Sun conjuncts Mars, well aspected October 1-23) and infuses action with fairness, while the mighty stabilizer Saturn, turns direct on the 11th! Stability and fairness, even in part, are reinstated, as Venus sextiles Saturn on the 13th and the life giving Sun trines expansive and generous Jupiter on the 15th. The 17th can be tricky; on one hand Venus is well aspected to Saturn and sextiles Mercury. However the Sun squares Pluto and pressure or even blackmail can rear their ugly head. Panic is your worst advisor; you could miss the gravy train, or an opportunity, on or after the 19th, as mighty Jupiter, the astrological Santa Claus, turns direct! Important communication and health tip; don’t let panic win; it will affect your relationships, pocket and mental health.

October 18-23: On and after the 18th communication, travel and health ailments (mental, circulatory, kidneys) begin to find balance, as Mercury ends its retrograde phase. On the 19th, Jupiter turns direct! Translation? Merry and bountiful Christmas, figuratively and literally! This brings joy in our hearts, as it releases ties that bind and reactivates commerce, transportation, travel, idea exchange, educational reform and advancement, pregnancies and in a nutshell all expansion (you will probably feel the positive influence of this major shift, after October 27 and closer to December). Try not to over indulge though. On the 20th, the action educed, fiery, egocentric full moon, squares (by 3 degrees) intense Pluto. You seek autonomy, against ties that bind (or it feels like they do) but the surrounding circumstances are controlling; you feel like a wet blanket was thrown over your fire. You may be right. Still, to be aggressive or succumb to fear, both extremes, will not work on any aspect of life, personal or collective. For the astrology aficionados, the end of Mercury’s retrograde motion on the 18th and jovial Jupiter’s on the 19th, brings joy in our hearts, as it releases ties that bind commerce, transportation, travel, idea exchange, educational reform and advancement, pregnancies and in a nutshell all expansion. Mars’ trine to Jupiter on the 19th activates the above. There is an intense Full Moon on the 20th; freedom and individuality are challenged. The moon is amplified by the Mars square Pluto, on the 22nd. Don’t be a control freak! Or allow freaky conditions to bully you. Important behavioral tip; In a position of power? Don’t abuse it; Saturn turns direct in humanitarian Aquarius and will appoint justice.

The October Full Moon, the Hunting Moon, occurs on the 20th at 27 degrees 26′ Aries. This Full Moon highlights the drive to achieve our goals, to be independent and courageous, while we contribute to our relationships, make time for others, but look out for our needs as well. This moon is challenged by intense Pluto. Translation? Most of us want to take care of our families, loved ones or selves; how can this be accomplished, if there is no room to comfortably grow and we are constantly under control by people in position of power, in our close and surrounding environment… Are the days of the King’s hunting grounds truly over? October 24-31 All affairs, business and personal, become more passionate, intense or controlling after the 23rd. Love, both emotional and practical, saves the day on the 27th and 29th.
