The path from August to September.

Once upon a time, governments were created by the people, for the people, in order to, well, govern. It is truly unfortunate that the August curtain was drawn with the eruptive and sad events of August 2020, like the explosion in Lebanon. What is really sad, is the fact that one more government, has been proved to be incapable of serving its people. Weak, corrupt and abusive governments seem to currently preside in most countries, all over our planet. Who pays the price, yet again? Innocents. Several other disasters followed suit; airplane crashes, the oil spill in New Guinea due to sheer foolhardiness, an explosion of Corona virus infections worldwide, especially in holiday destinations, where visitors and some locals alike, mostly between the ages of 18-35, did not observe the social distancing rules. Not to mention the volcanic eruption in Indonesia. Volcanic activity will be particularly prominent on our planet until March 2023, (please refer to August monthly tips on this site). I urge not just local authorities, but the global community, to pay close attention. Governments should work with seismologists, to have a contingency plan for all concerned territories. It is natural to be overwhelmed by so much negative information. Most of us have thought, at some point, ‘when will my life go back to normal”? Perhaps ‘Normal’ needs to be redefined. How else did our lives get to this point? Surely, those that rule are to blame, but did we not vote for them? A contingency plan is needed. ‘What plans do we swiftly need drawn and executed, to secure, once and for all, every living being’s life balance’, seems like a legitimate question to consider and answer. We, as entities, may not be the same, but we all share the same right to existence.

Overview for September. Mars turns Rx-retrograde this month, amplifying the Martian traits; drive, physical fortitude, the need to advance and impatience. Mars will be on the driver’s seat for a long time, staying sober behind the wheel (from bad moods or alcohol), is imperative. Neptune, planet of imagination, illusions and the medical field is still Rx-retrograde. On September 19, Mercury forms a quincunx with Neptune; issues connected to health and institutions surface. They are used and abused by authority (Pluto-Saturn) last week of the month. The veil is lifted and we face hidden truths, personally and collectively. This applies not just to those that work in the medical industry, but to those directly affected by the politics behind it, as well. Namely, all of us at this point. Try to put your affairs in order before September 23rd, as the last week of the month, emotions run rampant.

Aspects and dates.

On August 30-31st, Mercury opposed Neptune, and our thought process was collectively, and in some cases personally, off kilter. Mercury is also connected to health, so issues concerning the global, collective health, are most prominent. On September 1st Mercury, communication and health, trines Pluto, the transformative truth seeker. We demand the truth regarding global health, namely Covid-19, issues and truly effective measures, not undermining control tactics. The very next day, on September 2nd, there is a Full Moon at 18 degrees, in sensitive and caring Pisces. It affects mostly the Mutable sings (Gemini, Virgo, Sagittarius and Pisces), or people with points on their chart here. The Moon’s emotional and nurturing qualities are amplified by this watery sign. The balance between service to others and our need for emotional fluidity, against our daily work routine and health, is what will help us successfully put our ‘ducks in a row’, without being overcritical of other’s needs or override our own. Also on September 2nd, the Sun trines Uranus. We can solve practical issues, through positive use of technology and out of the box thinking. Venus opposes Saturn. This can actually be a beneficial aspect if we balance, for example, overspending against frugality. Being generous with ones emotions but not overbearing. On September 3rd, the Moon opposes Mercury, so clarity, not criticism, is imperative during communication. This way, we (and perhaps world rulers?), can use the solidifying conditions provided by the Saturn trine Mercury aspect, to reason with the unreasonable. On September 4/5th, Mercury sextiles Venus but Venus squares Mars on the 4th, an aspect felt on the 5th as well. A passionate Moon squares Pluto on 5th, Venus on the 6th, and conjuncts Mars. All lovers/partners, more so in the cardinal family (Aries, Cancer, Libra, Capricorn), be aware. If communication and assertion balance out, Venus traits (love, art and money), can prosper. Positive passion can brush over partnerships. Do hold off on that proposal, however. On September 7th the Moon conjuncts Uranus and trines the Sun. Innovative ideas in science, research, can emerge or old projects can take shape, especially if they are connected to the collective benefit. This makes for a particularly productive, prosperous and healing New Moon regarding new beginnings, renewals and putting issues to rest. Adhere to the beautiful Virgo traits like, work ethic, analytical skills, love for animals, social reform and ethically harvested food. A medical and scientific pioneering spirit presides. The Sun trines Saturn on the 18th. Foundations set, to a degree (Saturn Rx until September 29). Mercury squares Pluto on the 21st. Words can break bones. We want to focus on all things beautiful, but during the last week of the month, an inter play of challenging planetary aspects, throws our scales, of balance and justice, off kilter.
