An overview of September 2025.

Dear astro-fam, some of you are at a major cross road and must make a decision sooner rather than later. Others take a plunge and many are experiencing a first time event (being a new parent or the new kid on the block). What do a great number of us share this September? The chance to start over. The two Eclipses, the Lunar one on the 7th and the Solar one on the 21st, pretty much color the whole month and emphasize the need to take back control over your life. How? Well, if there is one word with substance and impact that can summarize the ‘how’, it is the word ‘anairesis’. This ancient Greek word directly translates ‘to recall (take it back)’ or ‘to destroy’. Have you been giving pieces of yourself away to the point where there isn’t any of you left? Take them back.

What is noteworthy here is that the September 21 Solar Eclipse occurs on the 29th degree of Virgo. This specific degree (29th out of 30 degrees in each zodiac sign) is actually called anaretic degree, -anairesis: ‘an(e)aretic-anaretic’. Think about it.. The time to become your life’s fixer-upper and begin a new 7, 12 or even 20 year life cycle for some, is now.
