Sturgeon Super Moon in Aquarius
You know what caviar is. It seems that most people either love it or can’t stand its taste. One of its main sources, is the sturgeon fish. How is it connected to the Super Full Moon in Aquarius on August 11/12th?
According to the old farmer’s Almanac and Native American traditions, August is peak time to fish and harvest this beautiful, prehistoric creature, that hasn’t changed that much over the last 245 million years! It resides in San Fransisco Bay and other waters of our planet. As with all living beings that Native Americans hunted for food, they only took what was necessary. Our greed, has rendered the green sturgeon species (like so many others), endangered but luckily, now protected.
And the connection to the Full Moon in Aquarius? Universal and not individual or paired up love, is an ultimate Aquarian characteristic. This humanitarian sign, is exalted every time we, humans, take action to protect the planet’s health and the well-being of all its ‘children’, which of course includes this millions of years old fish! This Full Moon is a Super Moon, meaning it orbits closer to the Earth than normal. Closer to the Earth means, a brighter moon, that illuminates us and our need to grow, emotionally, mentally and spiritually. It fills up in the home (astrological piece of the sky), of freedom loving and eccentric, Aquarius.
What can you get out of this Moon phase? Emotional connection is important but not emotional dependency. Be cool but not cold. Be humanitarian and giving but not a ‘door mat’. Let go of anything, anyone or any habit, that holds you back. Embrace progressive ideas. Be your original, authentic self! Refuse to give up your rightful ‘seat in the bus of life’, like Rosa Parks, a true Aquarius, did.
And whether you love or hate caviar, you should root for fair and balanced trade, of the sturgeon and all creatures. Live and let live.
