An abundant feeling of restlessness and darkness seems to permeate the atmosphere these last 10 days, on a global scale. Many feel hopeless, more than usual. Understandable as this may be, due to the familiar existing conditions, I feel compelled to share another bit of information with you. it is astrological but without hard to understand astrological details. March is traditionally, usually within its first fortnight, the ‘darkest’ month of the year. Although it is Spring’s first

month in the Norther Hemisphere and the first one of Autumn/Fall in the Southern Hemisphere, still it seems to feel the ‘heaviest, darkest’. The simple explanation is this; Although March is the third month in our Western Calendar, its dominant sign until March 20/21, also the Spring Equinox (this year it is on March 20), is Pisces. Pisces is the 12th, last out of the 12 zodiac signs and symbolizes altruism, sacrifice to serve others, intuition, spirituality, the end (darkness) before the beginning (light). Instead of focusing on the darkness as a negative state, how about looking at another available angle? The dark can be a time-frame were we reassess our life experience so far, let go of toxic habits that hold us back and proceed refreshed. It is giving birth to a new self. Our mother’s womb is safe, nurturing and dark; this is darkness without light but full of life! Life’s miracle happens here, before we are released, as newborns into our world’s light for the first time. Just as in nature, the seeds of plants, trees and flowers coming to life under the earth’s surface, in most places, are not yet visible. Yet we all know nature will flourish and blossom real soon. My dear friend, wherever in the world you are today, if you feel alone, desperate and without a light at the end of your tunnel, go within. Forget about what you have lost or hoped to have acquired by now. Are you able to ‘stand up’ and try again? Great, do it. Because there are so many out there who do not have what you do; a choice! Somehow, so many people, with little or no choice, continue to plug along and fight their good fight. If they do not give up, neither should you. Never give up.
